“Clifton College has been working with Natural Genius since September 2022. Sam has been supporting our colleagues who have a significant pastoral roles such as House Parents, Safeguarding Colleagues and our Wellbeing Centre. Sam is reliable and flexible which helps us to find the time to ensure this important reflective practice takes place. Sam provides both individual and group therapy, which has proved to have a really positive impact on staff. They have appreciated the confidential nature of the therapy and felt safe to share their practice with each other in the group sessions. This has provided a space where our team can truly learn and grow as a group”.
Rob Farrow – Director of Safeguarding and DSL, clifton college
“Sam at Natural Genius started working with us providing group and One-to-One Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) and Creative Arts Psychotherapy sessions to our students. He has consistently provided exceptional levels of service.
He has worked with a variety of students struggling with mental health, behavioural, race related issues, and autism. Engagement has been remarkable, with students literally queuing up to attend sessions. Feedback from students has also been incredibly positive, indicating that they have been able to access improved brain states, while also working with complex, and at times, distressing issues.
Sam provides updates on the intervention and individual impact enabling us to develop robust support strategies. He has developed a way of feeding powerful information in to the school pastoral system that gives meaningful and broad updates on student’s mental health, stressors and successes.
This has enabled us to maintain high standards in our duty of care for some of the more vulnerable students in the school. He has developed lasting relationships based on trust and creative collaboration for the whole school community”.
Vanetta Spence – Vice Principle, Fairfield School, 2017
“Natural Genius have been providing Creative Arts Psychotherapy sessions since 2017 at Venturers School. They have given exceptional levels of service, reliability, engagement and qualitative therapeutic outcomes.
They go above and beyond to support clients to realise their creative potential. Their child-centred approach, facilitating groups and one-to-one sessions makes therapy fun, inclusive and neuro-generative. They have also helped our students devise memorable performances for the whole school community.
If you want the vulnerable people in your professional life to move from disadvantage to resilience, and from struggle into creative flow then look no further”

“Sam at Natural Genius has provided Creative Arts and Movement Therapy sessions at Fairfield High School, Bristol for over 5 years.
We feel that the sessions provide our students with an opportunity to work in small groups in a safe, calm environment which allows them to express their emotions through the medium of movement and creative expression.
The sessions are always popular with our students, and many feel the sessions have allowed them to reflect on their own emotions and develop strategies to support themselves both in school and in their wider lives.
We have used the therapy for students who may experience anxiety, low-mood, EBSA type difficulties, bereavement, social difficulties. We would not hesitate to recommend Sam’s services to other schools.”
